The Beginning of the End of TNP
Hello friends, supportive readers, and those of you afraid of our motives because you’ve still neglected to gander at our About Us page. I have some good news and s
ome bad news. I will present you with the bad news first. This semester will be the last semester that The Northern Plight will be an active blog. After a long conversation with Woodward I have decided that I want TNP to end on a high note. I’d rather burn out than fade away.
I cannot stress how much I have appreciated all of the visits and comments you guys have left. This blog has made this year one of the happiest and most fulfilling of my short 22 on this earth. Last July I wouldn’t have believed you if you told me I would be running a website that receives over 1,500 hits a day (for the last two months), had 117 posts, 1,055 reader comments, and over 100,000 total visits.
Now for the good news. For the last month of it’s existence, The Northern Plight is going to switch things around a bit. We want to hear from the readers. I want to encourage you to submit your own articles. We will accept any format, for example; News Snippets, Polls, Survival Guides, News Articles, and of course HEADLINES.
So it’s up to you to help us make this last month memorable. Depending on the response, I intend to post any and every submission. Thank you so much for the last year. Submit all articles to northernplight@gmail.com and let me know if you want to remain anonymous or use a pen name.

What Bernstein neglected to mention is that we will both be soon pursuing further blog projects that reflect our post-college pursuits.

i think on the last article posted we should all put our real names on the comments so we can smile awkwardly at each other in the skyways…
or just keep it a mystery with our stealthy fake names…hmmm something to ponder…but i will miss the plight dearly…

So . . . Bernstein is a 22 year old, male, commuter . . . and I’m guessing has had several parking tickets and been booted by security, skips chapel, and has a problem with emos . . . or is that emus? (No emo is correct, an emu is a large flightless bird!)

I think that we should all actually meet face-to-face but still not tell everyone who we were on the site…that we everyone still has to guess, and that way the founders can still remain anonymous while enjoying the party.
And we SHOULD have a party. With cake.
